Ranger EXP Geiger counter is the Rangers pocket size device with an external probe configuration, where the sensor or Geiger-Mueller (GM) tube is effectively moved from the Ranger pocket configuration casing to the end of a wand-style detector, then attached to the base survey meter with a detector cord.
Features of Ranger EXP Geiger counter
· Micro, hand-held instrument based on microprocessors
· Excellent exposure to weak Alpha, Beta, Gamma and X-ray rates
· Digital display with a backlit view
· Red Light Counts
· Audible Beeper sounds with each detected count, giving instant indications of the level of radiation.
· Choose Alert Levels
· Timer adjustable to perform Timed Counts
· Built-in efficiencies to calculate activity in the Bq and DPM for common isotopes. (Important: The Ranger does not recognize any isotopes-you must know the isotope in advance to use this feature).
· Data storage, internal memory, and USB networking free USB Observer program to download your files, set alarms to your device, and calibrate your instrument!
